Activities

During the first decade (1989-99) of the Association's existence, the main activities carried out have been:

Increasing Association's membership and developing CWWA National Sections in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, and the Bahamas

Becoming a member in Region I of the Interamerican Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineers (AIDIS), attending their bi-annual Conference, and networking with the national sections of the Americas.

Publication of the quarterly CWWA Newsletter "Aim at disseminating information to a wider audience within the Caribbean's Water and Waste Sector."

Planning, organizing and conducting Annual Conferences and Expositions in the first week of October, as follows:

Conferences include technical and other presentations, equipment exhibition, field trips, spousal activities,the Association's Annual General Meeting and the Award Ceremony and Banquet.
